2024 California Dreamin’ Series

High-level match racing in 2024 kicks off in late January with the California Dreamin’ Series, including stops at San Diego Yacht Club, St. Francis Yacht Club, Long Beach Yacht Club and—due to heavy demand for match racing on the West Coast—this year Balboa Yacht Club has joined the series. Racing will be held in J/22s in San Diego and San Francisco, in Catalina 37s at Long Beach and in GovCup 21s at Balboa. To win the series, a skipper would count their best three scores, though to win the coveted invitation to Ficker Cup 2025, one of those scores must include the Long Beach stop to demonstrate prowess in the bigger boats.

Racing dates and locations are:
San Diego Yacht Club - J/22s – January 27-28, 2024
Balboa Yacht Club - GovCup 21s – February 18-19, 2024
St. Francis Yacht Club - J/22s – March 16-17, 2024
Long Beach Yacht Club - Catalina 37s – April 6-7, 2024
